Why Choose MIB?

In about 1984 I got a call from a potential customer who wanted to see our system. He already had a existing POS system that worked. His existing system was, at that time, considered to be the best one available. However, he felt that his existing system was too expensive. We agreed to meet. He flew from the east coast to Albuquerque. I picked him up at the airport and drove him to an auto parts store that was using our system. There were 5 men working the counter and it was a very busy day. The potential customer paid no attention to the computer. He just looked around the store. After about 15 minutes he said that he would buy a system and he wanted me to drive him back to the airport. I was confused and asked him why he didn't look at how the computer worked. He said that time and again he saw customers come into the store, go to the counter, get served and walk out of the store with their parts. He said that when he saw that, he knew the system worked and he didn't care how it worked. He chose MIB because it worked and cost way less than his existing system. He is still our customer today. Not long after he started using MIB, he called and said he thought that MIB was better than the system we replaced. He spent a few hundred dollars to see our sysystem, but we estimate that he maybe saved $500,000 in support, maintenance and required upgrades over the last 34 years for just one of his stores.
