Mib Testimonial

We are a mid-size, single location jobber.  In August of 2009 we switched from Triad Series 12 to Mib.  We are impressed by Mib’s low cost and good support. We bought a turnkey system.  Mib built our computers, wired our building, transferred our data, and trained us on site all at a faction of the cost of competitive systems.  We went live on the scheduled date.  Our phone support man is the same fellow who built and installed our system.  He answers his phone on the third ring whenever we need him.

We appreciate Mib’s ability to link related part records and append explanatory notes.  When we look up a battery all our short-line brands appear below the name brand unit as well as CCA ratings and warranty terms.  When we look up a muffler, an appropriate universal muffler also displays along with the required adapters.  We maintain list of specialized warehouses in our Mib.  For example, if we need a part for a Nash we type in, “Nash”, and a list of Nash specialists appears.

Mib catalog groups can be customized.  We use very narrow groups to display only the exact item needed, such as a tie rod end, and very broad groups to display all the parts required to complete a repair or perform a service.  “Tune-up “ and “Brake job” are examples.

We are still on honeymoon with our Mib, learning its idiosyncrasies and abilities.  There is a good user’s manual in which we discover useful features and we can type, help from any screen for clear explanation of how it works.  We have a “eureka moment” almost every week.
