Special Tax Rate by Account

A customer can buy at different tax rates from your default rate.
Fox example, Joe's Repair Shop is in a different area from your business and you deliver to Joe's. Suppose also that the sales tax rate in Joe's area is different from your tax rate and by law you are required to charge Joe's purchases at the sales tax rate for his area. You would set up Joe's account data so that he is charged at his local sales tax rate. You now charge Joe's at the correct tax rate.

However, at the end of the month, you have to pay each government agency the right amount of collected tax. You compute this properly also by flagging accounts by tax area. You are allowed almost an unlimited number of taxing areas. You merely run a report for each taxing area. Each report takes a few seconds.
