Accounts Report

Account reports can be sorted on any data. For example, you might sort on last 4 quarter's gross profit, account purchases over the quarter, date of last purchase, amount 90 days past due or number of items returned.

Account reports, like inventory reports, can be limited or filtered by any type of account data. For instance, you might want only accounts that are nontaxable, purchased more than $100 in the last year or opened their account more than a year ago.

The account balance report has the account's name and all their balances.

You might print address labels to send advertisements or dunning notices.

Report account special pricing by product line and part number.
Periodically, you may want to check special pricing on some accounts.

A dating invoice is an agreement between a business and an account in which an invoice is to be paid, usually in equal payments, over some time period. MIB has a report showing payments due on dating invoices over the next six months.

Account balance report with dating as separate entry. A variation on the account balance report is to include any dating invoices that will be due.

The delinquent account report prints the account's name, telephone number; amount past due and last payment date.

MIB has three dunning notices. The first is a gentle reminder. The second asks the account to pay now. The third threatens legal action if the bill is not paid promptly.

The account list shows how the accounts are alphabetized and shows you what accounts should have a different alphabetization.Tom Smith's Repair Shop is a good example. It might be under alphabetized under Tom, Smith or Repair Shop depending on who entered the data.
