MIB Kits

Kits are groups of items along with the quantity for each item needed to do a task. A kit can have from 1 up to 20 entries. Each entry has a part number along with the quantity needed to do the task.  Each of those part numbers would be for an item in your inventory. For example, a kit to change the oil in your car might have 1 oil filter and say 5 quarts of oil.

You can check availability of all items in a kit by typing the kit name from the check stock option for kits. If you are building finished products for inventory or sale to an account, you will know immediately if you have the items that are needed for the task.

You can sell some of the items in a kit. The system displays the items in the kit one at a time. You tell the system whether or not you want to sell the item displayed. The from the kit will be listed on the invoice just as if you typed the items manually for a sale.

You can sell all items in a kit at a kit price. The items in the kit will be listed on the invoice at a price of zero. At the end of the list will be the kit name with the kit price.
