Benjamin Moore Paint Store

My name is Richey. I along with two of my brothers and cousin own and operate 4 Benjamin Moore paint stores in Florida. Each of us runs one store. My dad & uncle started the business with one store in the 1970s. In the mid 1980s we added a second store. Shortly after that we decided to try a computer system to help us run our new store. We talked with MIB and they seemed to understand what we needed to help run our new store.  So we bought an MIB computer system at that time.  The system controlled our inventory and along with the daily invoicing being so easy, we decided to put an MIB system in our original store. By 1994 we had added two more stores each with their own MIB system. We have the capability of checking inventory in each store over the internet. Over the years the only times that I can remember the system being down was during hurricanes. The phone support has been excellent.  Jay, our telephone support person, is always there when we need him. Although much of our price updating is manual, Jay has helped us with our electronic price updates. He also helps us to install the price updates on the other three stores. On numerous occasions Jay has been able to get program changes to help us with our business.
